American Geosciences, Inc is also seeking a candidate with zero to two years of experience to work on environmental consulting projects. This includes Phase I site assessments, site investigations, site remediation, asbestos surveys, underground storage tank projects, etc. The position is 50% office work (securing subcontractors, writing reports, preparing maps, gathering information, etc.) and 50% field work (collecting samples, working with drillers, documenting field activities, etc.). Candidate will work directly with top-notch project managers and senior personnel. Candidate will work on a variety of projects in the tri-state area.
Candidate must have a B.S. in environmental science, geology, engineering, or related field.
The successful candidate must demonstrate skills gathering environmental information, consolidating data, interacting with people, and writing reports. Candidate must be able to work independently, as a team player, and lift 40 pounds.
