There are many geological companies and consultants who work in our region.  Some specialize in a particular area of geology, such as oil & gas exploration, while others offer a wide range of geological consulting services to the public.

Many corporations and organizations support the educational mission of the Pittsburgh Geological Society as sponsors of the society.  Their generous contributions help underwrite the cost of our student workshops, professional field trips, distinguished speaker fees, publications, and other society endeavors.
