Position Description

The Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences at Youngstown State University is looking for a part-time/adjunct faculty instructors to teach two courses starting in January 2016.

The courses are:

  • Geology for Engineers (GEOL 2611). This course is required of all Civil and Environmental Engineering students. It is offered on Thursday evenings from 5:10 to 8:50 PM. We are looking for someone with applied or engineering geology background and a Master of Science degree in Geology or a closely related field.
  • Physical Geology (GEOL 1505). This course is a freshman-level core geology course and includes a laboratory component. We are looking for someone with a Master of Science degree in geology or a closely related field.
