Your Role with the Company
The primary role for the Development Geologist will be to come up with Exploration ideas and generate prospects. This job will be 50/50. The most important part of the job is the development. The other half will be working or assigned to one of the least active districts where if we have a well, then putting a lease on it. If someone is not from the Appalachia region, current management describes this as “BASIN SHOCK”. Services don’t exist to just call and get a Production Map or Well Maps. Most of it is on paper. For example, Pennsylvania maps are on paper. Cabot is very stable and the earning potential is great. The Exploration Manager is looking to retire in 4 years, and ideally, there will be a need to replace him. This is a golden opportunity for the right candidate.

-Must possess excellent communication, technical writing, and analytical skills
